Our customer was having trouble with excessive vibration and alignment problems due to the use of a commercially available but inadequate bearing, based on the fan load. The bearing that they needed for best performance was too long for the designed outline.

IB International custom-designed our Uniblock^® bearing, a single bearing capable of fitting into the designed space and also able to handle the fan loads.

The customer had better control of alignment, greater fan reliability, dramatically fewer breakdowns, saving not only operational fan costs but also eliminating system outages due to the initial condition.
